Buying a house in Lagos

If you had some money to purchase a house in Lagos now. Which areas will you consider seriously. Lekki are comes to mind but the traffic jam in that area is becoming discouraging. Most areas in surulere are becoming gethorized with bus stops everywhere and area boys in areas that was alien to them in the past. My fellow federation members, I want to hear you views on this one.

i heard today from my mum that a friend had to sell his house and move coz a butcher moved in right next to him.
the world is really becoming a 'global village'

it is better to build other than buying a house . you have the privillages of making a rational choice than buying and then refurbishing or readjusting your house design.

the lekki axis is being expanded and its almost been finished.think your best bet is lekki-ajah area.

Some time it is better to buy a completed building than building your own house.
Reason; You buy land, you settle the owner of the land and after then you settle the real owners(Omonile) Hope you feel me.
Secondly when you build a new house you need to receive plan and building numbers or permission from the govt. and i bet you over here in lagos it takes months or even years to get it.
But when you buy a building, all you have to do is to refurbish the building if needed.
