Middle East and Nigerians

I know the middle east are sometime hostile especially to non muslims. That said, is it a good place for a Nigerian to migrate to? Does it have opportunities like the western world? Can one make a decent living thier and have some to spare for necessities back home in Nigeria? please let us know your views.

There are a lot of Nigerians in Dubai and some in Qatar but I am not sure how they are making out. The main advantage of travelling is the exchange rate but most of the middle eastern currencies do not offer the advantage the western countries provide in this respect. Nigerians in Qatar often complain because they seldom have the opportunity to make more. You are brought to Qatar by a sponsor and you work for that sponsor and only him. He holds you entry and exit visa. This coutry however is a heaven for other coutries such as Nepal and Philipines. But for the ever ambitious Nigerian it is usually not enough.
